- Raise awareness of the importance of knowledge management, sharing, and translation within the GCC region to strengthen institutions.
- Enhance preparedness and support rapid decision-making by utilizing knowledge management and sharing systems.
- Create an enabling environment for knowledge exchange within the Gulf Center for Disease Prevention and Control.

- Design knowledge management tools that enable staff to assess, capture, organize, and transfer knowledge.
- Innovate methods to raise awareness about the importance of knowledge management.
- Foster and strengthen a knowledge management culture by launching continuous initiatives.
- Integrate knowledge management tasks into the daily work and responsibilities of departments and divisions.
- Provide necessary support and capacity-building for staff.
- Collect high-quality research findings and ensure decision-makers have access to them.
- Provide tools and resources to facilitate the translation of research evidence into practice.
