Public health policies play a vital role in bringing health, wellness, and safety to communities. The Gulf Center for Disease Prevention and Control builds and strengthens public health policies, based on the priorities and threats posed to the Gulf region. In addition, one of the center's objectives is to develop coordinated procedures and protocols to guide public health initiatives.
