The Gulf CDC held the second meeting of the Technical Committee via video-remote communication, in the presence of communication officers from the GCC countries.
During the meeting, the existing work was reviewed and a comprehensive assessment of the achievements achieved by the Center during the current year was held. The Technical Committee submitted detailed reports on current and future projects, with a focus on the plans and challenges expected for the year 2024.
In his speech during the meeting, the head of the technical committee at the center stressed the importance of effective cooperation between the GCC countries and the necessity of achieving integration in the field of disease prevention and control. He pointed out the importance of innovation and modern technologies in improving performance and enhancing the ability to address increasing health challenges.
The meeting also focused on reviewing the 2024 projects and identifying priorities and strategic plans to ensure the achievement of the center’s goals in the future. The meeting witnessed effective interaction between members and participants, as opinions and directions were exchanged to develop performance and enhance the Center’s role in promoting public health in the region.
