The Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council was held in Riyadh on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 AD, the seventh meeting of the supervisory board of the Gulf Center for Disease Prevention and Control. The meeting discussed the executive plan for the year 2023 AD put forward by the CEO of the Center, Dr. All of them are in the interest of the people and health institutions in the GCC countries. It is noteworthy that the establishment of the Gulf Center for Disease Prevention and Control and its strategic plan was approved by Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council, when it was raised to the position of the Supreme Council at its 41st session (Al-Ula, January 2021), where the leaders approved the establishment of the "Gulf Center for Disease Prevention and Control." And activate it quickly to coordinate joint Gulf action in public and preventive health, and to be a Gulf observatory to monitor the spread of epidemics such as "Corona" and others, and for the center to be under the umbrella of the Health Council of the Cooperation Council states.
