The Gulf Center for Disease Prevention and Control participated in the 6th School on Respiratory Viruses (ISIRV 6th School), held at Qatar University from January 19 to 23, 2025, with the attendance of the center’s surveillance and monitoring specialist over five intensive days.
The event aimed to bring together a select group of local and international experts in various fields related to influenza and other respiratory viruses. The program featured interactive scientific lectures that provided attendees with the opportunity for direct engagement with experts, facilitating knowledge exchange and discussion.
The lectures covered a wide range of topics, including public health, epidemiological surveillance, research, predictive models, and advanced analyses related to respiratory viruses. Additionally, the latest developments and research in respiratory diseases were reviewed, offering participants a valuable platform to share insights and enhance their scientific understanding.
