The Public Health Emergency Department at the Gulf Center for Disease Prevention and Control convened a series of coordination meetings during March to monitor regional developments and assess their potential public health implications for the GCC Member States.
The meetings brought together members of the GCC Public Health Emergency Network, alongside representatives from the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, where updates were shared and the latest developments related to public health were discussed.
The meetings also focused on enhancing coordination and information exchange among relevant entities, contributing to strengthened preparedness and response to any potential health impacts, and reinforcing joint Gulf efforts in the field of public health emergency preparedness.
