The Gulf Center for Disease Prevention and Control concluded its participation as a scientific partner in the Bahrain International Public Health Conference, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain from 6 to 7 November 2025, with the participation of leading experts and regional and international health entities.
This participation reflects the Center’s commitment to supporting joint Gulf efforts to strengthen health security, exchange scientific expertise in disease prevention and control, and enhance preparedness and response to epidemics and public health emergencies.

The Center also participated with a dedicated booth in the accompanying exhibition, showcasing its key regional programs and initiatives.
This participation comes as an extension of the Center’s ongoing efforts to support joint Gulf health action and to reinforce its coordinating role in capacity-building and in enhancing the GCC states’ readiness to face future health challenges—contributing to the Gulf Health Council’s vision and strategies for a healthier, more prevention-oriented Gulf community.
